Yelp, Groupon, Pandora, others jump following Priceline/OpenTable

YELP +9.4% premarket, Groupon (GRPN) +7.1%, Pandora (P) +3.5%, Angie's List (ANGI) +4.7%, TripAdvisor (TRIP) +3%, and Zynga (ZNGA) +2.3% after Priceline announces it's buying OpenTable for $2.6B (a 46% premium to yesterday's close).

OpenTable (OPEN), meanwhile, is up to $104.18 - $1.18 above Priceline's acquisition price - as investors bet a higher offer (perhaps from Google, eBay, or Amazon?) will arrive.

The deal is the largest acquisition of a public U.S. Internet company in recent history.

No one can say we are not in a bubble. Irrational exuberance in the market while economy and world politics suffers. This the legacy of Ben Bernanke QE nonsense.

We're not in a bubble.... there you go. Even if you suggest the stocks mentioned above are richly priced (dare you make that case with ZNGA and its $1B in cash), the market as a whole is far from bubble levels.

If I wanted a shill brokerage firm to convince me to buy stocks I would buy them myself.

When is a last time when a brokerage firm has said stay in cash or buy bonds? In 30 years, never. And I worked for a brokerage firm, they could care less for their clients other than siphon more commissions while clients portfolio plummets.

Entire financial industry is just an unnecessary middle-man that does more damage than good.

    Bubble, bubble, oil & trouble
    Russia's still in Ukraine
The bubble will pop with the very first shot
And stock prices will go down the drain...

So short, short, short, while still in safe port
    To cover any potential losses
And when the bubble comes & we're not left with crumbs
We can all then fire our bosses
