RPX files for review of ParkerVision patents

RPX and entrepreneur Mike Farmwald (a ParkerVision short) have requested a USPTO inter partes review of 3 of the 4 ParkerVision (PRKR +2.3%) patents a jury deemed Qualcomm to be infringing during last year's suit.

Markman Advisors observes an adverse ruling could affect both settlement terms with Qualcomm and future litigation.

The USPTO recently rejected an RPX request for an inter partes review of patents being asserted by VirnetX against Apple, declaring the request "time-barred" on account of the fact it was filed more than a year after Apple was served with an infringement complaint.

Mike's trying to manipulate the price down so he can find an exit strategy. We wish you all the best Mike.

Have you read the reports? The prior art is very strong and the expert who wrote them has a tremendous background. The validity of these patents are now going to be ruled on by experts and not a jury without technical expertise. I would not just so quickly dismiss what happened today.

One only has to ponder the question, "Why didn't Qualcomm initiate this?" They could have done so a year ago or longer. "Why not Q?" is an honest question. Another nagging question posed to a rather dishonest person, "Why Mike Farmwald?" The validity of these patents are sound or Qualcomm would have started this a long time ago. Give me a break....anybody who know Fudwald is very quick to dismiss this.

BTW...here's a possible outcome -- that being (1) the patent review request is rejected or (2) the review is held and the patents are validated. Then the stock price rises and you'll hear a collective groan from 23 + million short shares.

Desperate shorts do desperate things when their pocket books are in danger. MF is a master in deceit but too little, too late.

HEADLINES: Rambus Signs Comprehensive License Agreement with Qualcomm June 11, 2014.

Oh, this is peachy. Rambus (Mike Farmwald & Co) sign on 6/11 and then turn to the USPTO on 6/12? This is simply amazing in how far shorts will go to find some escape hatch. Farmworm has truly outdone himself this time.

Unbelievable. Oh, Oh, this is just too good to be true.
