JPMorgan's push into ETFs begins on Tuesday

The JPMXF Diversified Return Global Equity ETF is part of the "smart beta" wave which has come under some criticism for being vague and overpromising.

"It’s a term the industry uses, and I don’t have something to offer in terms of a better one,” JPMorgan (JPM) ETF chief Bob Deutsch tells Barron's. “I do think there is a recognition that traditional market cap weighted index funds have unintended biases, and that because of those unintended biases, investors should at least consider other ways to invest."
