Apollo Investment and Blackrock Kelso boosted by upgrades

In addition to starting FS Investment at Outperform, KBW is bullish on a couple of other middle-market financiers, upgrading Apollo Investment (AINV +1.1%) and Blackrock Kelso Capital (BKCC +2.9%) to Outperform.

AINV has been a sweetheart in my portfolio. BKCC disappointed when they cut the payout. Good thing my position is irrelevant and will calculate if it makes sense going deep. I can clearly understand AINV's upgrade but am morbidly confused how BKCC would after a payout reduction. I would have thought that a downgrade was in order. Positive proof that this is market manipulation at its best. I was awaiting a downgrade to add when the pps plummets but I imagine KBW or one of it's subsidiaries went heavy on BKCC and then announce the upgrade. Think about it; an upgrade when their last quarterly reporting warranted a dividend cut.

My cast iron stomach, let me buy more early may. Just sold midday for a 4.9% profit plus almost 2.5% dividend.

And oh I have owned for years. Still way too overloaded, and my trim if it goes over 9.
