Valero Energy Partners makes first asset acquisition

Valero Energy Partners (VLP) announces a drop-down acquisition from Valero Energy (VLO) of the McKee Crude System, Three Rivers Crude System and Wynnewood Products System for a combined $154M.

The 200-mile McKee pipeline system has 72K bbl/day of throughput capacity and supplies ~40% of the crude oil processed at VLO's McKee refinery, Three Rivers in the Eagle Ford shale includes a pipeline with capacity of 110K bbl/day that delivers crude oil to tanks at VLO's Three Rivers refinery, and the Wynnewood system in Oklahoma consists of a 30-mile pipeline with 90K bbl/day of capacity.
