Pluristem receives patent in Russia

  • Russia's Federal Service for Intellectual Property grants Pluristem Therapeutics (PSTI) patent no. 2515156 entitled "Methods of Treating Inflammatory Colon Diseases." The patent covers methods to treat ulcerative colitis (Crohn's Disease) using placenta-derived cells.
  • South Africa has already issued the company a patent on the process. Decisions in several other jurisdictions are pending.

    They may have corrected a mistake since your comment
    but PSTI is indeed the stock symbol for Pluristem.
