- Brian Crutcher, formerly the SVP of Texas Instruments' (NASDAQ:TXN) analog chip ops, has been promoted to the newly-created position of EVP of business operations. The new position gives Crutcher "oversight for [TI's] product lines and sales."
- Succeeding Crutcher as SVP of analog is Steve Anderson, who was previously in charge of TI's high-performance analog product line.
- TI's analog unit accounted for 62% of the company's Q1 sales, and 72% of its op. profit. Thanks in part to share gains, the division's revenue rose 11% Y/Y to $1.84B.
