Dramatically cut back my spending at Walgreens after discovering they were a sponsor of the anti gay racist Duck Dudes. I'm neither gay nor a minority but think bible thumpers and their sponsors need to pay for their intolerance.

When someone is anti-gay, who knows what else he/she/it is anti inside his/her/its little closets?

When someone wants to suppress the freedom of others to speak regardless of what they believe, who nows what else they dream to suppress deep inside? It's one thing to disagree with someone, it's another to shut down their speech.

He's not asking for their freedom of speech to be infringed, he's simply exercising his own freedom to take his business elsewhere. Knee jerk reactions like complaining about someone trying to "shut down their speech" aren't helping anyone.

It would be nice if someone had something to say about the actual news item. Like, how significant is a .7% drop in customer traffic? What caused that? Is it part of a trend? etc.

SA works so much better when we put our politics aside and talk about investing.

Walgreens foot traffic has been trending downward the past couple years. Basket $$ amount is increasing so Walgreens has obviously made the commitment to get more sales $$ from existing customers rather than seeking new business. If new business comes their way, that's fine but their concentration is on the core customer.
