First Industrial inks two leases at Joliet distribution center

• First Industrial Realty Trust (FR +1.1%) is higher after yesterday announcing the signing of two leases at its 509K square foot distribution center in Joliet, IL.
• One lease with a 3rd-party logistics provider is a long-term deal initially for 100K square feet beginning on June 30, and ramping up to nearly 324K square feet in a year. The other lease is for eight-months for 300.7K square feet with another logistics firm.
• As of June 30, the building will be 79% occupied.
