Futures point to opening gains


Stock index futures are all ahead about 0.25% amid a moderate rally in Europe, the Stoxx 50 (FEZ+0.3% after manufacturing PMI numbers for the Continent were about inline with flash estimates from a few days ago.

The Nikkei was the big mover in Asia overnight, +1.1% with a slight rise in China's PMI a good excuse for headline writers.

The 10-year Treasury yield is up three basis points to 2.56% and gold is up $5 per ounce to $1,327.
