U.S. Silica to develop frac sand facility in Wisconsin

• U.S. Silica (NYSE:SLCA -0.3%) shares score a new all-time high before pulling back, after announcing late yesterday it had received approval from Fairchild, Wis., to begin developing a frac sand mine and plant near the town.
• The proposed facility, which will be served by Union Pacific railroad, is expected to produce 3M tons/year of frac sand and become operational by Q4 2015.
