• Toyota (TM +2%) reports it ended the first half of the year as the top-selling brand in the U.S. after maintaining positive growth in June despite two fewer selling days than a year ago.
• Sales by brand: Toyota +2.5% to 178,196; Lexus +10.1% to 23,518.
• Sales by model: Corolla +17% to 30,945; Prius -11.5% to 18,649; Camry +13.4% to 40,664; RAV4 +5.1% to 21,589; Highlander +4.2% to 11,555.
