Ex-Goldman seek class action status for gender discrimination suit

  • Two former female Goldman Sachs (GS +0.3%) employees who filed suit for gender discrimination in 2010 are seeking class acton status which would allow them to continue on in behalf of all female associates and VPs in the bank's investment management and securities divisions.
  • Among the charges are accusations of fostering a "boys club" atmosphere where binge drinking was common and meetings were held at strip clubs.
