Just keep Chinese production IN China. Was shocked to see a made in China headlight ballast assy on the Audi A4 S line, in the U.S. first time ever, usually it's German or some other European country. Even seen South African wiring harness in the Tiguan! See Portugal, Italy,Slovakia, Austria,England , but that made in China just doesn't look right etc. etc. They can't even keep dog food safe!

If you don't like it change it. The auto parts industry is already established in China!

everything in my VW's and Audi are not anything Chinese hasn't been for 30 years or more. First time ever I seen a Chinese part in an Audi! OSRAM parts where all from Europe. Keep the Chinese parts in China, they have the biggest market for it, no need to send here. Nothing in my GTI is Chinese, nothing. Nor the Tiguan SEL. Of course all the parts makers have factories all over the world. But a Chinese part in a German assembled Audi is scaaarey.

You are biased. Think about GM, it has been producing the most dangerous vehicles in the auto industry, caused multiple deaths, which triggered the biggest recall in the auto history. GM deserves to go back to bankruptcy again for its safety concerns. Every company has issues, don't just simply point fingers at China. At least, it still produce much safer cars than GM. Also, don't give the stupid argument that GM parts were produced in China, as China makes auto parts for GM's competitors as well, and they don't have to recall as many cars as GM.

In sum, Americans need to grow up and learn that we can not keep blaming China for their own faults. It is simply embarrassing, learn from your own mistakes. GM deserves to go to bankruptcy again if it doesn't maintain its quality control.

Man, you are pathetic. At least Volkswagen is much safer than GM made cars, and Americans don't say a shit about GM when its cars killed multiple people, and the company made the biggest recall in the auto history. GM is POS.
