Goodrich Petroleum completes Tuscaloosa Marine Shale well

In an operational update of its Tuscaloosa Marine Shale results, Goodrich Petroleum (GDP -6.4%) says it completed its Beech Grove 94H-1 well in Louisiana, with a peak 24-hour production rate of ~740 boe/day.

GDP says it also began completion operations on its SLC 81H-1 well in Louisiana, and its Denkmann 33-28H-2 and Bates 25-24H-1 wells in Mississippi.

Says it is currently running three rigs in the Tuscalosa with plans to go to as many as five rigs by year-end; GDP owns 300K-plus net acres in the play.
