Merger hawk on FCC review board for AT&T-DirecTV, Comcast-TWC deals

The FCC has named William Rogerson as part of the team that will review the Comcast (CMCSA)- Time Warner Cable (TWC) and AT&T (T) - DirecTV (DTV) mergers.

Rogerson is considered a bit of a merger hawk after being a gadfly during the Comcast-NBCUniversal combination.

Some analysts think the composition of the board as a whole will lead to a tough review process for the media giants.

Good - it's probably not healthy to have so much influence over news and other programming being exercised by one family. JMHO

This administration will only sleep easy when they strangled both the telecommunication and oil & gas industry.

Maybe the administration is eligible for ''disability'' social security like the so many of the socialist policies they advance.
