KLA-Tencor ups FQ4 bookings guidance

KLA-Tencor (KLAC) guides during an analyst briefing (webcast) at the Semicon West conference for FQ4 (June quarter) bookings to be above prior guidance of $625M-$825M.

Shares are near breakeven in the face of a tech selloff. Lam Research offered an upbeat analyst day outlook a couple hours ago. Meanwhile, smaller peer Axcelis has issued a Q2 warning some think is due to company-specific issues.

KLA sold off in response to its FQ4 guidance back in April, but has since more than recovered its losses.
