Copper (JJC -1.6%) falls as traders warily eye China's trimming of its economic growth target. In an ominous indicator, stockpiles at the Shanghai Futures Exchange are reportedly at the highest level since 2003.

    Who keeps unloading the LME inventories then? Somebody is buying. Might just be the US.
