    I'm not surprised very often, but this surprises me. Combined with the Justice Department settlement announced this morning, Citi looks to make a nice pop here and is STILL certainly a buy at this price even after this move. Easily a mid-$50 shareprice.

    C was some of the best bottom fishing I've ever done in the market, back when it was so toxic nobody wanted it. I sold enough of my holdings not long afterwards to get back my original money so whatever it's worth is basically pure profit for me.
