The LeapTV slated for holiday season debut

LeapFrog (NYSE:LF) will sell a new gaming console this holiday season called the LeapTV.

The $150 product is aimed at younger children and licensed games will be sold separately.

What to watch: Some industry insiders think the LeapTV's use of motion sensors and video cameras will make the system appealing to parents looking for an alternative to the sedentary style of kids tablets and other handhelds, while others warn the product is coming in pretty late in the game.
