    So... Annex Crimea without a single person killed? International community rage is overwhelming. Sanctions are applied.

    Bomb Gaza, killing mostly civilians, to punish Hamas for a crime committed by ISIL? No sanctions necessary.

    What a joke this world is.

    Yes, they have... but I was talking about Crimea's annexation, not about the Eastern Ukrainians Separatist revolt.

    The hypocrisy stands:

    - ISIL kills 3 Israeli teenagers;
    - Israel blames Hamas;
    - Israel bombs Gaza to punish Hamas for a crime they haven't commit, killing at least 214 Palestinians, from which 77% are civilians;

    The International Community closes their eyes and whistles away.

    How would you stop the rockets from Gaza? Your terrorist friends put fire their rockets from among civilians. Jews can protect themselves!

    Ummmm you missed the bullet regarding all the rockets launched into Israel by Hamas AND how exactly do you tell the difference between civilians and militants to come up with a percentage of 77%??

    Just imagine that they were shooting rockets at San Diego from Mexico, for the purpose of indiscriminately killing innocent civilians. Would you say the US has no right to defend its citizens?

    How naive can you be. There wouldn't be one rocket launched anywhere by Israel if they were simply allowed to LIVE IN PEACE.

    The 77% number came from today's United Nation's report:

    "According to preliminary information, 77 per cent of Palestinian fatalities so far have been civilians, raising concerns about respect for
    international humanitarian law."

    Since they mostly hit civilians, Hamas' terrorists seem to be the collateral damage.

    About all the rockets launched by Hamas:
    - over the last 10 days, they've killed one Israeli;
    - over the last 10 years, they've killed 28 Israelis;

    It's hardly a massacre what Hamas is doing.

    Still, Israel has every right to protect its citizens but that's not the only thing Israel is doing.

    Israel claims they are simply defending their citizens but the UN disagrees and calls it by its name: Israel's "illegal long-standing occupation" of Palestinian territory and the Syrian Golan Heights;

    Also, the United Nations reports: "continued expansion of "unlawful" Jewish settlements, construction of the Wall into the West Bank, land confiscation and destruction of homes and livelihoods "constitute severe and continuous violations of the rights of Palestinian children and their families."

    Ironically, they're blowing up the U.S. "by shooting" the "civilians" over the border, instead of rockets. Maybe, even more effective.

    If you have better sources, please present them. Otherwise, it's your personal opinion vs an United Nations' report.

    Yeah well the US has been the long standing occupants of the 50 states, formerly owned by Native Americans. I don't see that reversing anytime soon. If Native Americans decided to start launching rockets into occupied urban areas in the US, it would not go well for them either.

    My advice is get over it, live in peace and live long.

    In that case, should Russia simply invade Ukraine and tell the UN to "shove it"?

    Arm wrestling match, pay per view, live from madison square garden would work. US, EU, Russian, Ukraine and separatists factions could name a champion to participate. You could do rematches, best 2 out 3 or best of 7.Be a big hit I think.
