More on Philip Morris' Q2

Philip Morris (NYSE:PM) reports cigarette shipment volume fell 2.7% to 222.8B units in Q2.

Revenue grew 8.5% Y/Y to $2.393B in the EU region, while falling 14.2% to $2.311B in Asia.

Unfavorable currency swings lopped off $0.15 from EPS.

    Pays div..48 cents/qtr..4.6% yield.


    PM...Philip Morris Int'l. (NYSE: a spin off of Altria a few years ago, now a foreign tobacco company, about $84.55 @ today's close.
    Pays div..94 cents/qtr..4.5% yield.
