    Long time MCD shareholder and so thankful for what they have done for me and family - but this stock just seems adrift to me right now.

    it's a real dog the last couple of years. I took some off the table in 2012 and here we are in 2014 and it's falling back to the same price!

    I agree. I sold over 15 months ago at $95 and I see this morning pre-market has it selling at $95.80. Almost time to consider getting back in for the dividend.

    it might be ok for a divvy play here.... definitely better than a stock like COH that people keep praising as a cheap divvy play

    I think COH is worth a buy if you believe the company can rebuild its brand, which I think is definitely possible. I would not buy it strictly for its dividend though as there are much better options out there with strong records of long term dividend growth, something COH lacks.
