Does Seeking Alpha actually pay people for posting this kind of commonly known information??!!

I'd say the SA articles that really provide new info or insights make up maybe 20% of those published. And that may be a high end estimate.

Shouldn't there be some standards for publishing?

It's just a news post. It's not supposed to have any additional info.

The dividend posts provide the right amount of info and gets published relatively quickly after the company annouces.

I rely on these as the quickest/easiest way to gather the information I want for my tracking spreadsheet. Beats all hell out of visiting every company's investor relations site on a daily or weekly basis.

Thank you for your posting. I think some people would like it if you just bought the stock for them and then they would question you for buying it for them. These posting are very helpful. Thanks too everybody. Happy investing.
