HTC's struggles are continuing in 2012. Only a month after issuing a bleak Q4 report, the smartphone maker announces (.pdf) its February sales fell 36.8% Y/Y, to roughly $687M. HTC is hoping new phones and a revamped product strategy will allow it to halt growing market share losses to Apple and Samsung. SanDisk (SNDK), Qualcomm (QCOM), and other chip suppliers (I, II) are probably hoping the same.
