Baird tips off that the latest iPad tablet will use camera sensors from OmniVision (OVTI +5.6%), with a 5 megapixel sensor in the rear camera and a 1 megapixel sensor in the front camera.  Analysts raise OVTI to Outperform on the potential for outfitting the iPad HD , as well as the upcoming iPad Mini.

    There's a rear camera on the iPad? Who knew!?

     

    More importantly, who uses it? Nobody.

     

    More over-engineering of an unused feature. Apple could ditch the rear camera entirely and increase margins on the "iPad HD" by that much more.
