Solar names on watch following anti-dumping news

Solar names are under pressure following the U.S. government's move to place anti-dumping duties as high as 165% percent on solar panels and cells from China.

China condemns the action, saying "if escalating problems in the China-U.S. solar industry are ignored, in the end it will damage up and downstream industries in both countries."

Moving sharply lower premarket: YGE -5.1%, CSIQ -4.3%, JKS -3.8%, TSL -2.7%, JASO -2.5%, SCTY -2.2%, HSOL -4.9%

Moving up: SPWR +1.8%, FSLR +2.7%.

I'm pretty sure that China's factories would set up shop in the U.S. if the tariffs are kept up and hurt too much because they used to buy quotas from other countries to export their textiles into the U.S. (probably still do if quotas still exist) and they even set up bogus companies in countries with unused quotas and route their exports to the U.S. through those countries. That would easily kill the dreams of U.S. manufacturers to reap huge profits through such tariffs. History may repeat itself here.

    And then what?

It won't take long and Chinese will accept anti measures.

Not to mention that this tariffs will go on WTO and quite sure been canceled.

Priced in. This tariff war on is madness as it will destroy the US PV market, killing tens of thousands of jobs in the name of protecting an inefficient German owned firm that is backed by oil money.

Being priced in might imply no impact but look at the massive upside with JKS today. What am I missing?
