Google+'s (GOOG) low user engagement rates may not bother Google much, suggests Matt Rosoff, since the social networking platform can still help Google boost its ad revenue. Ads that are recommended by users through "social annotations" such as Google's +1 button, and then broadcast to Google+ followers, are said to witness a 5%-10% increase in their click-through rate.
