DT likes Sprint's offer better because of the synergies involved. I don't think M Son will tolerate a biding war even though he has unlimited funds.

Sprint's future is about M Son and his other holdings which includes Alibaba.

Yes. All S is doing with TMUS is buying customers, which is the fast track to growth. If S can secure low end spectrum, implement it quickly and correctly, they will grow regardless of M&A. Day-to-day pps and rumor do not concern me...talk to me about pps a year form now.
Data usage is growing exponentially every year. Don't you think the USA needs (at least) 3 strong national carriers? Do yo have any idea how 100mbs+ will change b2b, p2p, net of things, etc...beam me a latte lol...

Softbank will come in higher than the $40 reported. Masayoshi Son will be very aggressive, but likely has to wait for the success of his Alibaba IPO in Sept to prove/secure his additional funding as part of his deal with the banks involved. Additionally, TMUS has Carlos Slim in waiting should S.B. not get approved. TMUS will happen over $40 with someone ($43-$46). Just hold on... Sept/Oct
