Google (GOOG) is looking to sell Motorola Mobility's (MMI) set-top box business, claims the NY Post. Though Larry Page has said the business could help advance Google's TV ambitions, it has traditionally featured low margins and tight control by cable providers over device specifications. Pace and Thomson are also reportedly looking to exit the set-top market, and Cisco (CSCO) has been forced to shoot down similar rumors.
