Tribune Company completes spinoff, rebrands itself

Tribune Company changes its name to Tribune Media Company (OTCPK:TRBAA) after spinning off its publishing business.

Tribune Publishing (NYSE:TPUB) will trade as a pure-play newspaper stock starting tomorrow.

Newspapers under its operation include the Los Angeles Times, the Chicago Tribune, the Sun Sentinel, the Orlando Sentinel, The Baltimore Sun, and the Hartford Courant.
