Zulily -3.8%; revenue guidance hiked, but profit outlook unchanged

Zulily (NASDAQ:ZU) has hiked its full-year revenue guidance to $1.2B-$1.225B from $1.15B-$1.2B (consensus is at $1.2B). However, net income guidance of $15M-$25M is reiterated.

Q3 guidance is for revenue of $275M-$287.5M (consensus is at $283.3M) and net income of -$7.5M to -$12.5M.

Active customers +86% Y/Y in Q2 to 4.1M, total orders +92% to 5.4M, average order value +1% to $53.85. 49% of North American orders were placed via a mobile device, up from 47% in Q1 and 42% a year ago.

Gross margin 190 bps Y/Y to 28.4%. GAAP SG&A spend rose 80% to $49M, and marketing spend 93% to $24.7M; those figures compare with revenue growth of 97%.

Shares rose 4% in regular trading ahead of the report.

    Hiked adjusted EBITDA on the high end for 2014 at $55 million. Market Cap 4.6 billion.
    82x EBITDA. This is the most ridiculous valuation I have seen. What a great short story.
    Now, if any of you believe in fairy tale growth story in the next 10 years, then maybe you should buy. Good luck.
    I don't care what some dumb analysts say, this stock is worth $20 at it's best.
