Texas Instruments (TXN) -2.1% AH after using its mid-quarter update to guide for Q1 revenue of $2.99B-$3.11B ($3.02B-$3.28B prior) and EPS of $0.15-$0.19 ($0.16-$0.24 prior). The chipmaker cites lower demand for wireless products, though it doesn't clarify whether the products are its application processors or baseband chips - TI is winding down the latter business.     when was the last time TXN didn't cut it's guidance. and yet, if you listen to the guys on CNBC, when it gets to talking about semis, TXN is always recommended. can anyone tell me how many years TXN has been a dead stock? forever.
