Pay for performance - let's lead by example. Like most executives, I'm sure that DEO execs are quite comfortably compensated - hard to keep them hungry to stay on task and deliver growth and results, year over year.

According to this source, http://bit.ly/1yxXFe1, Menezes' take home was the equivalent of $3 MM, his first year as full-blown CEO with the company (based on reduced compensation, having not hit targets). Ability to walk on water might be an attribute worthy of such a compensation package.

Been a holder of DEO since the GrandMet days, when the SP was in the $30s.

Wishing the company and investors future success.
