Electronic Arts (EA +0.1%) says over 3.5M copies of Mass Effect 3 have shipped since the sci-fi role-playing game went on sale on Tuesday to positive reviews. The strong reception comes after EA's Battlefield 3 sold 5M copies in its first week of sales in October. Meanwhile, GameStop (GME -1.1%) is underperforming following the release of NPD's February data.
