Weight Watchers (WTW +2.2%) rises after Barclays starts coverage with an Overweight, arguing several growth initiatives will pay off. Among them are the company's online business; its remodeling of retail stores; its expansion of business-to-business operations; new product development; and international expansion. Barclays also likes Weight Watchers' high margins and limited capital needs.

    Did Barclays see the irony of putting an Overweight on Weight Watchers? I understand they have a Hold on Fastenal, a Buy on Best Buy, and an Underweight on AirGas. Me thinks there's a mischievous twelve-year old loose in the research department!
