The nascent OpenStack cloud infrastructure platform can claim one big customer in Sony, which says it's at least partly abandoning industry giant Amazon Web Services (AMZN) in favor of an OpenStack solution hosted by Rackspace (RAX). Sony's decision comes after its PlayStation Network witnessed a major hack last spring that was linked to AWS.
