- GoPro (GPRO +9.1%) is now up 14% on the week. With 7M shares shorted as of Aug. 15 (only 17.8M were sold through the IPO), short-covering appears to be playing a big role. Today's volume (7.9M shares) is well above a daily average of 4.6M.
- The Monday launch of GoPro's Fetch dog harness camera accessory could be helping the company's cause. GoPro declares the $60 harness can support dogs weighing between 15-120 pounds, and that it will allow "digging, running, swimming, hunting and exploring dogs" to "showcase their world." YouTube clips should be arriving shortly.
