Futures point to opening gain


Stock index futures are all higher by about 0.2% amid a rally in Europe ahead of an expected cut in interest rates by the ECB this week. The Stoxx 50 is up 0.75%, led by Germany's 0.9% gain.

Asia posted gains overnight, with Shangahi up 1.4% and the Nikkei up 1.2%.

The 10-year Treasury yield is up four basis points to 2.38% and gold is lower by $15 per ounce to $1,272.
