Production starts at two Eclipse Resources Utica well pad locations

Eclipse Resources (NYSE:ECR) says it started production at two of its pad locations in the Utica Shale consisting of seven wells at a total combined rate of 52.6M cf/day of natural gas and 1.8M bbl/day of condensate.

Flowing pressures of the two wells at the Shroyer pad have exhibited shallow pressure declines, which ECR believes likely indicates a strong reservoir and effective completion.

ECR also reaffirms Q3 production guidance, believing it will produce average daily production at or above the mid-point of its previous guidance.
