- Enterprise Product Partners (NYSE:EPD) and Kinder Morgan Partners (KMI, KMP) are evaluating demand for two proposed crude oil pipelines serving the Utica region in Ohio and the Williston Basin region of North Dakota.
- EPD announced late Thursday it would begin taking commitments from shippers for a proposed pipeline running from the Williston Basin to the trading hub in Cushing, Okla.; the 1,200-mile project would move 340K bbl/day of crude, expandable to more than 700K bbl/day.
- KMI's project, the previously announced Utica to Ontario Pipeline Access project, will focus on ethane and ethane-propane mixture coming from the Utica area; it would transport an initial 50K bbl/day of refined natural gas liquids, with an option to expand to 75K.
