- Sempra Energy (NYSE:SRE -0.9%) says it has received final approval from the Department of Energy for an export license for its proposed Cameron LNG project.
- Earlier this year, Cameron LNG received authorization from the FERC to site, construct and operate the three-train liquefaction and export facilities.
- When fully completed, the project will have export capabilities of 12M metric tons/year of liquefied natural gas, or ~1.7B cf/day.
