Altera (ALTR +2.1%) moves up after Goldman Sachs adds shares to its Conviction List, citing "strong fundamental drivers through 2012." Programmable logic devices, which ALTR makes, have been 18% below “normalized levels” of late for the entire industry, Goldman says, and ALTR could win market share as 40-nanometer parts displace older 150-nanometer parts.
