• Estimated end of September book value per share of $23.78 is up from $23.60 one month previous. Today's close of $22.43 puts the stock - yielding 13.75% on an annualized basis - at a 5.7% discount to book.
• Ellington (NYSE:EFC) has mostly traded at a marginal discount to book value for most of the year, though the price did move to a premium late this summer (and was quickly met with a secondary offering).
• Shares -0.4% AH to $22.31.
