- Angie's List (NASDAQ:ANGI +5.2%), which had 1,637 employees as of last December, expects to have 2,800 workers by 2019. To accommodate them, the company plans to invest over $10M in capex next year on an HQ expansion, and $40M by the end of 2019.
- The expansion plans come even though Angie's recently cut 97 sales jobs, a move said to be aimed at 'improving salesforce performance and productivity." The company has since been reported to be exploring a sale.
