Wal-Mart (NYSE:WMT) scores a coup of sorts as it will open stores at 12:01 AM - 8 hours before Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) opens its own outlets - to begin selling the new iPad. The arrangement also allows Wal-Mart to get the jump on rivals Target and Best Buy.
