Demand for Intel's (INTC) just-released E5-2600 "Romley" CPUs has been stronger than expected, claim Digitimes' server industry sources, and that's leading to supply "falling short of demand by about 20%." Hopes have been running high that Romley, which was built with cloud and "scale-out" server infrastructures in mind, will give a lift not only to Intel's sales, but to data center IT spending in general.

    Are they putting these in iPads? They must be since the anti Intel crowd is convinced PC's are dying off.
