AmTrust lower as Trust Risk CEO makes noise

• AmTrust (AFSI -2.8%) CEO Barry Zyskind's version of the dispute is "fantasy," Trust Risk Group CEO Antonio Somma tells Insurance Insider.

• "We haven't stolen anything from them," says Somma. "The contract we have with them give us the right under Italian law to withhold the premium ... If they cannot even read a simple contract, how can they do something as complicated as med-mal?"
• While Zyskind told recent earnings call listeners Trust Risk has no right to recover lost earnings from the remaining period of the terminated contract, Zomma says the deal was for 15 years and just four years have passed. "We are missing eleven years and under the contract we are entitled to the €500M we would have earned."
