Just weeks after Yahoo filed suit against the company, Facebook (NASDAQ:FB) has reportedly acquired 750 patents from IBM. The patents, some of which are said to cover software and networking technologies, could more than double the size of Facebook's portfolio. Google (NASDAQ:GOOG), another Internet giant with its share of legal troubles, purchased over 2K patents from IBM last year.
