The hydrogen story begins at Toyota

• Toyota (TM +0.5%) says it will invest ¥20B ($165M) to boost production capacity for the Mirai fuel cell vehicle as it makes a measured global introduction.
• The FCV model debuts in Japan on December 15 priced at ¥7.24M ($62K).
• The automaker has a slow plan of expansion for Mirai in the U.S. and Europe as it looks to draw in other partners willing to back hydrogen technology.
